Sheffield United and Bristol City have been charged by the Football Association over the mass confrontation at the end of Tuesday's Championship game.

It is alleged the two teams failed to ensure their players did not behave in an improper and/or provocative manner in the 94th minute of the 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane.

Both clubs have until Monday, 17 March to respond to the charge.

The Blades were fined £80,000 in January after admitting to a similar charge resulting from the 2-2 draw with Coventry City.

The South Yorkshire club have now been charged with five non-standard breaches since August 2024.
