Charlton Athletic have signed Jamaica international Kaheim Dixon for an undisclosed fee.

The 19-year-old forward has signed a four-year contract at the Valley.

Dixon has scored two goals in eight appearances for Jamaica and was part of their squad for this year's Copa America.

He joins Charlton from Jamaican club Arnett Gardens and becomes Nathan Jones' eighth summer signing.

"I'm very happy to be here," he said. "My first opportunity to go professional is to be at the Addicks.

"It's been very good to see Karoy [Anderson], another teammate from my country. I can't wait to start playing with him."

Charlton have won their first two League One games of the new season against Wigan Athletic and Leyton Orient and sit fourth in the table.

They host Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
