Grimsby sign Wrexham midfielder Davies on loan

Grimsby have signed midfielder Jordan Davies from Wrexham on a season-long loan.

Davies, 25, started his career with the Welsh club and returned there in 2020 following a spell three-year spell with Brighton.

He scored 21 goals during Wrexham's 2021-22 National League campaign.

"I think the club's a perfect fit for me to get back into the rhythm of playing games week in, week out, and I'm looking forward to getting started," Davies told Grimsby's website. , external

"I'm an attacking midfielder who likes to create goals and also get in the box and score goals as well."

Head coach David Artell added: "I'm delighted we have been able to bring Jordan to Grimsby Town. He's a terrific player and we believe he'll be an excellent acquisition for us."
