Rangers to appeal against Diomande red card

Manager Philippe Clement has signalled that Rangers will appeal against Mohamed Diomande's dismissal in Sunday's 3-1 win over Dundee United at Tannadice.
The midfielder was sent off in added time following an altercation with United's Kevin Holt, with referee Nick Walsh sticking with his original decision following a VAR review.
The red card has been classified as violent conduct, with the 23-year-old judged to have deliberately swung his hand towards Holt's face.
"Dio gets pushed away," Ibrox manager Philippe Clement told BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound.
"There is a small reaction with his hand without touching the opponent. Nothing."

And the Belgian added: "The only thing we can do is to appeal. If you get red cards for this, then you need to give three or four red cards in every game. I saw much worse things with yellow cards given."
Diomande's sweeping shot had equalised for Rangers in the first half following Sam Dalby's poked opener.
Robin Propper put Rangers in front with the aid of a Holt deflection and Cyriel Dessers wrapped up the points with a stunning late strike.
Clement had made four changes following Thursday's Europa League defeat by Manchester United and was asked if he would have any injured players back for Thursday's final league phase game at home to Union Saint-Gilloise.
"There's a big chance Ridvan Yilmaz will be back," he replied.
And on transfers, Clement commented: "Those are questions for [CEO] Patrick [Stewart] and the board. I'm focused on the players that are here and focused on getting results."
