Carlisle United defender Jack Ellis has signed a new one-year contract extension with the club running until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The deal also has the option of a further year.

Ellis, who came through the club's academy, has played 83 games for the Blues since making his debut in 2022, scoring twice.

"It's really nice obviously being here for a long time now and to continue the journey," the 22-year-old told the club's website, external. "I'm really looking forward to the next couple of years."
