Brighton have signed Japan striker Kiko Seike from Japanese side Urawa Reds.
The 27-year-old will link up with the Women's Super League club after competing for Japan at the Paris Olympics this summer.
Seike, who scored 20 goals as Uwara Reds won the Japanese top flight last season, has scored seven in 21 games for Japan.
Brighton have not revealed the terms or length of the deal.
Managing director of women’s and girls’ football Zoe Johnson said:, external "We’re delighted to welcome Kiko to the club. She comes to us with a lot of experience at the highest level."
Seike is Brighton's second summer signing following the arrival of Netherlands defender Marisa Olislagers on a free transfer from FC Twente.
Brighton are yet to announce a permanent replacement for manager Melissa Phillips, who was sacked in February.
Mikey Harris was appointed interim head coach for the rest of the season as Brighton finished fourth from bottom of the WSL.
