Notts County midfielder Edwards out 'until Christmas'

League Two leaders Notts County are likely to be without midfielder Curtis Edwards until "around Christmas" with the 30-year-old set to have an operation on an injury picked up last month.
Edwards has been affected by the unspecified problem since the club's home win against Accrington on 7 September.
He missed Notts' 4-2 victory at Bromley last Saturday as the unbeaten Magpies secured their fourth win in a row.
"Curtis Edwards requires an operation on an injury sustained in our recent home match against Accrington Stanley and is likely to be out until around Christmas time," the club said in a statement.
Notts lead the table by one point from Gillingham, who they host on Saturday.
