Ipswich Town's double promotion-winning captain Sam Morsy has left the club to join Kuwait SC.
Morsy, 33, led the Tractor Boys from League One to the Premier League in successive seasons and played 34 times last term as Town were relegated back to the Championship.
After beginning his career with Port Vale, Morsy had spells with Chesterfield, Barnsley, Wigan and Middlesbrough before moving to Portman Road four years ago.
He made 165 appearances and scored 11 goals in four seasons and said playing for and captaining the club had been "the biggest honour of my career".
"We have had some incredible days and nights together and I will remember many of these for the rest of my life," he told the club website.
"Achieving back-to-back promotions allowed me and many of my team-mates to achieve our dreams of playing in the Premier League, so I will always feel indebted to [boss] Kieran [McKenna] his staff, everyone at the club and the supporters for helping us get there."
