'It's a no-brainer!' - St Johnstone fans on next manager

St Johnstone are looking for a new manager after Craig Levein was sacked five matches into the new Scottish Premiership season.
The former Scotland boss, 59, took over in Perth 10 months ago and guided Saints clear of relegation last season.
But he has been removed with the club 10th in the Premiership table after overseeing one win and four defeats.
We asked St Johnstone fans if they agreed with Levein's exit and who they want to replace him - this is a taste of their views...

Lex McQueen: 100% the correct decision. His tactics were dreadful. We were an awful watch. TBH I'm not sure what [chairman] Adam Webb will go for. Andy Kirk isn't the answer - possibly Ian Murray is in with a shout. We need experience but not as archaic as Levein - we just have to be patient and trust Mr Webb to call this one right. Possibly he'll look at Europe.
Malcom Forbes: Well done St Johnstone. Barry Robson for the job.
Rick: Absolutely the correct decision and should have happened back in May. Problem is the new manager will have a team that has no goalkeeper and cannot defend. I'd prefer a younger, hungry manager. We need to stay away from the old guard - unless Tommy Wright can be convinced to come back.
Steve Webster: Anyone with a personality would be a step up, and I mean that seriously. I'm a season ticket holder and his management has been woeful.
Ian Miller: Despite some early promise to his tenure, that quickly disappeared and last season was torture from December onwards. Although it looks like we have more firepower this time round, defensive frailties are coming up every week and costing us valuable points. Feels like a change is needed, it will be interesting to see if the board has a plan.
Brian Angus: Has to be Ian Murray as the new manager, with Andy Kirk as his number two.
Roy Spiers: A decent man who unearthed some diamonds but didn't energise fans. Saved us from relegation, but results weren't good enough this season. Really hope we don't hop on the usual merry-go-round of out-of-work Scottish managers. There's time to get the right person, but they'll need to be attack minded and ready to shape the raw talent in the squad.
Anonymous: I think it is the right decision, yes. He did well to keep us up last year but we look bereft of ideas now. I'd like to see us ask the question of David Marshall whether he fancies management.
Joe Logswood: Dave Mackay.
Matt Cormack: We need a specialist coach - somebody who can get the very best out of the (relatively limited) talent we've got at our disposal. For me, John Carver should be in the mix. He's done a great job as Scotland's assistant coach and knows Scottish football inside out by now. It's a no-brainer.
Anonymous: Sacking Craig Levein is a good call, although I'm in the camp that felt it was a bad appointment in the first place. We need someone with experience, good man management skills and the contacts to bring in the two or three players we desperately need. I've heard Alex Neil’s name mentioned, which would be a good appointment but probably out of our reach.
Cameron Ritchie: Correct to sack Levein, no change in fortunes and instead of just surviving it will eventually come to us going down. Potential replacement? I'd like to see Derek McInnes back or maybe Neil Lennon or Ian Murray.
Brian Coulter: This move will not upset many, if any. Levein arrived in beige, claiming tiredness, and looked even less interested this season. A few decent signings, but his heart was never in it. A new board is likely to look away from the 'old boys' brigade - I hope. A good decision to do it now.
Anonymous: Tommy Wright. By far the best we had in a decade and he deserved the money to make us better!
David Piper: After the past three seasons of skirting with relegation and changing out players and management there is a need for a total rebuild of the squad. A new owner needs to accept it will take some time but Craig Levein does not have a good track record so they needed to search for a new management team with fresh ideas.
