Truro City earned a "good point" as they drew 0-0 at fellow National League South high-fliers Eastbourne Borough.

Tom Harrison headed against the post and put another header just wide as the Tinners shaded the first period, which also saw Dominic Johnson-Fisher go close.

Eastbourne had the better of the second period but neither side could find a breakthrough.

Both sides drop a place, with Truro now fifth and Eastbourne sixth after Dorking Wanderers went above them following a 3-2 win at Weymouth.

"I think it's a good point, I think it is a fair point," Truro City coach Matt Godfree said.

Godfree was in charge of the side from the dugout with fellow coach Ben Adelsbury as manager John Askey and his assistant Stewart Yetton served a touchline ban.

"Not many come here can get any points so we'd have taken it before the game for sure," he told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"You win your home games in our position and you get something away from home, and that's exactly what we're going to be aiming to do over the next three games."
