West Ham sign Spain midfielder Soler on loan from PSG

Carlos Soler has played for Valencia and Paris St-Germain

West Ham have signed Spain international Carlos Soler on a season-long loan from Paris St-Germain.

The midfielder is the club's ninth signing of the transfer window.

The 27-year-old has made 14 appearances for Spain and began his career with Valencia before joining Paris St-Germain in 2022.

"I am really excited to be here as a West Ham player," said Soler.

"It has always been a dream of mine to play in the Premier League, and to be doing it in London with a club like West Ham is an incredible feeling."

Meanwhile, West Ham defender Nayef Aguerd has joined La Liga side Real Sociedad on loan until the end of the season.
