Port Vale have confirmed the signing of striker Dajaune Brown on a season-long loan from Championship side Derby County.

Brown, a Jamaica youth international, becomes the club's 10th signing of the summer after making 16 appearances for the Rams last season.

The 19-year-old could make his League One debut against Reading on Saturday.

"We're delighted to welcome Dajaune to the club for the remainder of the campaign," Port Vale manager Darren Moore told the club website, external.

"He's someone we've been monitoring for a while now and a player who we feel can really add to what we're doing here at Port Vale.

"Our thanks to Derby County for trusting us with his development, and we'll look forward to integrating him with the group this week."

Brown spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan at Gateshead, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances.
