Harvey Godsmark-Ford scored a late goal as Welsh Cup holders The New Saints finally overcame Cymru North side Mold Alexandra.
The Saints had to wait until the 68th minute to break the deadlock through Ryan Astles but Eddie Servuts levelled for the hosts only for Godsmark-Ford to strike late on to secure a 2-1 win.
Flint Town United successfully navigated a potentially tricky JD Welsh Cup round three tie with a 3-0 victory at Ardal League side Bow Street.
Ben Wynne fired Lee Fowler's men in front just before half-time against the tier three opponents.
Elliott Reeves sealed the win with two second half goals for the Cymru Premier club.

Last season's beaten finalists Connah's Quay Nomads won 3-0 at fellow Cymru Premier side Bala Town.
Callum Wood, Max Woodcock and Harry Franklin were the scorers for John Disney's side, who won the Cup in 2024.
Josh Lock, Phil Mooney and Connor Evans were the scorers as Caernarfon Town won 3-0 at Newtown.
Barry Town United eased to a 5-0 win away at Aberystwyth Town while Penybont were winners by the same scoreline at fellow Cymru Premier side Briton Ferry Llansawel.
Cardiff Met were also big winners with a 5-1 victory over Taffs Well.
Port Talbot were 3-1 winners over Afan Lido in the big derby match of the round while Gresford Athletic beat Llanrug United 9-0.

Llanelli Town saw off fellow Cymru Premier strugglers Haverfordwest County to advance to round three of the JD Welsh Cup.
Joe Lloyd, Brad Gibbings and Ethan Cann scored as the 2011 Welsh Cup winners secured an impressive 3-0 win at Stebonheath.
Tier four side Kinmel Bay, who play in the North Wales Coast East Premier Division, frustrated Cymru Premier side Colwyn Bay for over half an hour.
In a game switched to Colwyn Bay which attracted a crowd of more than 1,000, Aaron Williams broke Kinmel Bay's resistance.
Jordan Davies' penalty and Louis Robles extended Bay's lead in first-half stoppage time before Jamie Cumming and Max McGoona sealed a 5-0 win.
Friday's other round two ties saw Llandudno beat fellow Cymru North side Flint Mountain 3-0, while Cambrian United won 6-0 at Goytre United and Pontypridd United beat Cefn Cribwr 3-1.
