Midfielder Dan Rooney has become the fourth Truro City player this week to sign a new deal.
The 26-year-old former Plymouth Argyle youngster will go full-time after the club's promotion to the National League.
Rooney returned to Truro two years ago after a spell with Plymouth Parkway and has also spent time at Bath City.
Will Dean, Tyler Love-Holmes and Dan Lavercombe have also agreed new deals with The Tinners this week.
"For me it was a no brainer to sign on," Rooney told the club website.
"The last couple of months of the season, I hit some form as I found my position and at the moment, I am absolutely buzzing.
"There is always pressure when your contract is up. But I felt confident I would get a new deal, even though getting promoted means we are going full-time.
"The opportunity to become a professional full-time footballer again is an opportunity that not many people get.
“Leaving my job and going back into full-time football is a risk, but when I weighed things up, there were lots of pros and no cons.”
