Teenage defender Harry Dean has signed his first professional contract with Wrexham.
The 18-year-old centre-back has featured regularly for the Under-18s in the last two seasons, making more than 50 appearances and scoring seven goals.
“I’m over the moon. Having been at the club from age eight and coming all the way through the academy, it’s a great feeling," Dean told the club's website.
“With everything going on with the club, everyone can see it’s brilliant. It’s an amazing time to be here.
“My aim now is to get into pre-season in good shape and kick on, look at knocking on the door of that first team and see what happens.”
Manager Phil Parkinson said: “It’s good to have players stepping up from the Under-18s. The team was close to winning their league last season and Harry was a key part of that.
“Now is the chance for him to step up a level and show us what he can do.”
