MK Dons striker Dean signs for Gent

Striker Max Dean has joined Gent from Milton Keynes Dons for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old arrived from Leeds United in January 2023 and scored 19 goals in 34 games last season as the Dons reached the play-offs before losing to Crawley.
Dean has signed a four-year contract with Gent, who finished eighth in the Belgian top flight last season.
"We are extremely proud of what Max has achieved with us and the opportunity this has created for him as he begins a new chapter in his career," sporting director Liam Sweeting told the club website, external.
"Max joined us looking to forge a path in the game and the outcome is one for us all to celebrate.
"He is the latest example of what players can achieve at MK Dons."
