Jersey Bulls Women moved to the top of South East Counties Women's Football League Surrey Division One after a 4-2 win over previous leaders Milford and Witley.

The victory maintained Bulls' perfect record in their first season in the English football pyramid as they won for the fifth consecutive game.

The islanders got off to the perfect start as they forced an own goal in the first minute before Sofia Rodrigues doubled the tally 12 minutes later.

Holly Sundby made it 3-0 with her seventh goal of the season, but the visitors pulled back a goal soon afterwards, before getting a second in first-half stoppage time.

Anita Tavares made the game safe with 14 minutes to go as she joined Sundby at the top of the Bulls' goalscoring charts with her seventh goal of the campaign.

The win means Bulls move above Meadow Sports on goal difference and are one of three sides with 15 points alongside Milford and Witley, who they beat last week.
