Sheff Wed sign Cardiff goalkeeper Horvath on loan

Ethan Horvath made 20 appearances for Cardiff City last season

Sheffield Wednesday have signed Cardiff City goalkeeper Ethan Horvath on loan until January.

The 30-year-old USA international joins after first choice Pierce Charles was ruled out with a shoulder injury.

That left the Owls, who are under a number of registration embargoes, without a senior goalkeeper and they have been given dispensation to bring in the former Nottingham Forest and Luton Town player.

He will go straight into the team for Saturday's Championship game at Wrexham.
