Barnsley sign Chelsea keeper Slonina on loan

Gabriel Slonina was part of the United States squad for the 2024 Paris Olympics

Barnsley have signed Chelsea goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan with Belgian top-flight side KAS Eupen.

He was part of the United States squad for the Paris Olympics but did not feature.

The Tykes announced his signing shortly before their League One season-opener against Mansfield at Oakwell.
