Stockport sign Onyango on loan from Everton

Tyler Onyango has made five senior appearances for Everton

Stockport County have confirmed the signing of Everton midfielder Tyler Onyango on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old made his senior debut for the Toffees in 2021 in the FA Cup against Sheffield Wednesday.

Following loan spells at Burton Albion and Forest Green Rovers, Onyango returned to his parent club last year where he made 10 appearances for the academy team.

Onyango, who can also play as a central defender, is available to make his County debut in their League One opener at home to Cambridge United on Saturday.
