Brighton captain Vicky Losada has left the Women's Super League side following the expiry of her contract.
Losada, 34, joined Brighton from AS Roma in July 2023 and made 47 appearances in all competitions during her time playing for the Seagulls.
Manager Dario Vidosic said Losada "truly embodies what it means to be a captain and a leader".
"I'd like to thank Vicky - both personally and on behalf of the team - for her unwavering dedication to this club over the past two seasons," Vidosic said.
"Although we only shared one season here, she played a huge role in helping me settle into the job and was a constant source of support and guidance."
Losada previously played for Manchester City and Arsenal in the Women's Super League, and won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2020-21.
Vidosic added: "As a player, her accolades speak for themselves. She's a commanding presence on the pitch and her wealth of experience is clear for all to see.
"She epitomises the values we stand for as a club and has been fully committed to driving us forward in our ambition to establish ourselves as a top-four WSL side. Her contribution to our historic season last year was nothing short of pivotal, and that achievement will always be a proud part of our legacy."
