Centre-back Ciaran Kelly hopes he has proved himself to Bradford City boss Graham Alexander after impressing in their past two games.
Kelly was part of the Bradford side that ended Stevenage's 100% home record in Saturday's 1-1 draw before helping the Bantams keep just a third league clean sheet of the season in Tuesday's stalemate with promotion rivals Lincoln City.
The 27-year-old was pleased with his displays after only managing one other league start this season and Alexander acclaimed his performance against Lincoln as his best for the Bantams.
"I've really enjoyed it," the Irish defender told BBC Radio Leeds. "I'd been struggling for minutes this season so to play the last two games and put in a shift like that, I'm really happy with myself.
"Every time I get out on the pitch, that's what I want to do. I'd like to contribute going forward as well, but when there's a job to be done, defending, that's what I'll do.
"I'll always be knocking on the gaffer's door to get minutes as I believe in my ability.
"I believe I can help the team. Stevenage was a tough place to go so to be thrown into that game was a credit because the gaffer trusted me.
"I don't think anyone has taken a point from them all season at their home ground, so it was a good game to be involved in.
"That trust gives me massive confidence going into the next few games. I've been thrown in and hopefully I've done well and helped the team."
