Guernsey FC are on the cusp of relegation from Isthmian League South Central after a 3-0 loss to third-placed Kingstonian.

The loss - Guernsey's first at their new Victoria Park home - means they are five points from safety with two games to play.

They drop a place to third-from-bottom and will be relegated for the first time in their history if they fail to win both of their remaining matches.

Should the side above them - Metropolitan Police - get a draw in one of their remaining games Guernsey will be all but down due to their inferior goal difference.

The islanders started well as Brandon Wallace hit the bar in the eighth minute while Jacques Cauvain volleyed wide 12 minutes later.

But the Green Lions went behind in the 32nd minute when Bradley Wilson bundled the ball home from a corner.

Kingstonian got a second soon after as Dan Rowe finished off a counter attack, despite protests after Fin Du Port went down in the build-up.

Wallace hit the bar again two minutes later as the hosts tried to get on the scoreboard before half-time.

Tom Vaudin and Ross Allen had chances for Guernsey early in the second half while Cauvain had an effort cleared off the line after an hour as the hosts chased a goal.

Charlton Gauvain had a penalty appeal turned away soon after while Jacob Fallaize had a header tipped over by Liam Allen with 20 minutes left.

Tony Vance's side could not find a way through as Arsen Ujkaj got Kingstonian's third on the break in the third minute of stoppage time to inflict a 22nd loss on Guernsey in 40 games this season.

"The reality is it's out of our hands now," Vance told BBC Radio Guernsey.

"But what it does mean is we've got to use those games and push on and get ready, dust ourselves down and go again."
