Blackburn Rovers head coach John Eustace has been fined £2,500 by the Football Association for his red card in the draw with Coventry City on 27 April.
Eustace was sent to the stands by referee Anthony Backhouse after getting involved in a scuffle with Coventry player Kasey Palmer over retrieving the ball.
He was subsequently charged with misconduct and admitted to behaving in an improper manner at a personal hearing.
There will be no touchline ban for the 44-year-old to face.
Eustace guided Blackburn to Championship safety on the final day of the season courtesy of victory at champions Leicester City.
