Cardiff City came from behind to beat Adran Premier title rivals The New Saints in a seven-goal thriller at Park Hall.

Chantelle Teare gave Saints the perfect start with the opening goal inside two minutes, but Fiona Barry levelled for the visitors 10 minutes later.

Lia Lewis' penalty restored the hosts lead and although Cardiff responded once again through Mikayla Cook a goal from Grace Dunkerle saw Saints in front at the break.

Laura Curnock equalised for Cardiff early in the second half and the comeback was complete when a second from Cook proved to be the winner.

City are five points ahead of second-placed Saints while Swansea maintained their position in fourth spot with a 4-0 win at Aberystwyth.

Emily Thomas, Chloe Chivers, Aimee Deacon and Taite Trivett scored for Swansea.

Bottom-of-the table-Cardiff Met secured only their second point of the season, holding Wrexham to a 1-1 draw at Cyncoed.

Natalie Clark put the ball in her own net to give the hosts the lead, but Brooke Cairns secured Wrexham a point with a second half equaliser.
