Truro City have signed goalkeeper Aidan Stone after he left National League rivals Yeovil Town by mutual consent.

The 26-year-old has agreed a one-year deal with an option for a second.

He joined the Glovers from Notts County in February and made 17 National League appearances.

Stone has considerable English Football League experience having played 86 times in Leagues One and Two for the likes of Mansfield Town, Port Vale and Notts County.

He will provide competition for Truro's established first-choice goalkeeper Dan Lavercombe as the club prepare for their first-ever season in the National League.

"The new season is just around the corner, so once I found out about the opportunity to come here it was something that I jumped at," Stone told the club website.

"I know a few of the lads here already and they spoke about the project and what's been going on over the last year or so, so it's definitely something that aligns with what I want to do."
