Millwall recruit Baker, Sturge and re-sign Lovelace

Zak Lovelace is returning to Millwall after two-and-a-half seasons at Rangers

Millwall have signed Brighton & Hove Albion winger Benicio Baker, external and sealed the return of Zak Lovelace, external from Rangers, both for undisclosed fees, as well as bringing Chelsea's Zak Sturge, external in on loan on a busy transfer deadline day.
Baker and Lovelace have signed "long-term" contracts to become the Championship club's sixth and seventh signings in the winter transfer window.
Lovelace, 19, spent six months with the Lions before moving to Rangers in 2022, having made four appearances off the bench for the Lions.
At 15 years and 340 days, he became the second-youngest player ever to represent Millwall when he made his debut in December 2021.
He played eight times for the Scottish giants.
England youth international Baker, 21, came up through the academy at Portuguese side Porto before moving to Brighton in 2022.
He spent the first half of this season on loan at Port Vale, where he made 14 appearances, and featured five times as a substitute in the Premier League last season for the Seagulls.
Sturge, 20, is yet to play for Chelsea's first team but made 15 appearances on loan at Peterborough United in 2023-24.
