American businessman Anthony Serafino has acquired a minority shareholding in Football League newcomers Bromley.
The League Two club say the 32-year-old has acquired shares from owner and chairman Robin Stanton-Gleaves and vice-chairman Jon Plassard.
Serafino is the president of New Jersey-based Exp. Group LLC, a multinational fresh food organisation in South and Central America and the Caribbean.
"I am absolutely delighted and humbled to join Bromley as a new shareholder," Serafino told the club website., external
"As soon as I met Robin and saw his vision for the club, I knew this was the one I wanted to be a part of - I am extremely excited for the future of the club.
"I promise to do all in my power to maintain and grow the club's success, I look forward to meeting everyone very soon."
Bromley say proceeds generated from the sale of the shares to Serafino will contribute towards funding the development of their new East Stand.
"We're very excited to welcome Anthony to the Bromley family," chairman Stanton-Gleaves said.
"He has tremendous enthusiasm for the short and long-term vision and ambitions of the football club and is determined to help play a part in our progress on and off the pitch.
"Our commitment to consistent and sustainable growth is absolute and Anthony's arrival is another positive step forward for the club in this regard."
