Truro City taking FA Cup seriously - Askey

Truro City boss John Askey says he will be taking the FA Cup seriously this season.
Askey takes charge of his first FA Cup tie as Tinners boss when his side host National League North side Brackley Town in the second qualifying round on Saturday.
Truro have not won an FA Cup game since a first qualifying round win over Exmouth Town in 2021. They reached the first round for the only time in their history in 2017.
"We've got to take it seriously. We're not a Premier League club for whom it might not be their priority," Askey told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"But for any non-league team you've got to take you seriously.
"It's not only the money that can be earned from it that can change a club, but also I think if you can have a run in it it gives the club a massive lift and creates interest in the club."
