Huddersfield Town winger Ruben Roosken has signed a new contract at the John Smith's Stadium until at least 2028.
The 25-year-old Dutchman initially joined the Terriers from Heracles Almelo on a two-year deal in January but has extended his stay even further.
"I'm so happy to have this extension signed, and it means a lot to myself and my family to have been made to feel so loved and welcomed at the club since arriving in January," he told the Terriers' website., external
"I feel really settled and at home at the club, and I can see the direction and ambition of everyone here this summer, and that's a journey I want to be part of.
"Even though I have only been a Huddersfield Town player since January, this club means a lot to me and I wouldn't want to play my football anywhere else right now."
Huddersfield got their campaign off to a flying start on Saturday, beating Leyton Orient 3-0 in their League One opener, with Roosken scoring their third goal.
