Wednesday re-sign Brighton keeper Beadle on loan

James Beadle made 19 appearances for Sheffield Wednesday last season after joining on loan in January

Sheffield Wednesday have signed Brighton goalkeeper James Beadle on a season-long loan deal.

The 19-year-old ended last season on loan with the Owls and kept eight clean sheets in 19 appearances as they avoided relegation to League One.

He had started the season on loan in the third tier with Oxford United, where he made 25 league appearances.

Wednesday start the new season at home to Plymouth on Sunday, 11 August.
