Reading have signed striker Jack Marriott on a three-year deal from Wrexham for an undisclosed fee.
The 30-year-old has made played more than 400 games in English football and last season scored six goals in 26 matches for Wrexham as they won promotion from League One.
Marriott began his career at Ipswich, made more than a century of appearances for Peterborough, and has also played for Luton, Derby and Fleetwood among other clubs.
"He knows this division inside out, he's got a real eye for goal and he brings experience that will really help our younger players as well," said Reading boss Noel Hunt.
"Having been part of a promotion-winning side last season he also knows what it takes to succeed."
Marriott has played once for Wrexham so far this season, scoring a penalty as they beat Hull City in the EFL Cup, meaning he is cup-tied for the competition and cannot feature in it for Reading.
