We asked for your views on Tuesday night's EFL Cup match between Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday.

Here are some of your comments:

Mark: This was the most insipid and uninspiring display of Farke's tenure. Sheffield Wednesday were well organised, committed and limited. Leeds lacked purpose, pace and ideas. Early days but I cannot yet see how our 10 new signings have improved last year's team. I'm hoping it's not quantity over quality. Well done to Wednesday.

Chris: A chance to put the horrors of Saturday behind us and for new faces to push for a start against Newcastle but another horrible display must give grave concerns, even this early in the season.

Kieran: At the end of the day Leeds just weren't good enough. Calvert-Lewin couldn't finish his chances. Karl Darlow had that own goal and our penalties weren't brilliant. But I'm not that bothered about a cup we were never going to win. Just put everything into the league now and focus on avoiding relegation.

Andrew: This result has just proven how wrong our recruitment strategy has been this summer. Have we learned nothing from our last stint in the Premier League? Buying cheap European options that have zero Premier League experience will not result in safety.
