Halifax secured their fifth straight victory in the National League after they beat Brackley 2-0.
Halifax dominated the opening stages but Jonny Maxted pulled off a superb save to deny Owen Devonport from close range.
The hosts made their pressure pay just two minutes after the break when David Kawa struck to make it 1-0 and put them in the driving seat.
The home side secured the points in stoppage time when Owen Bray struck past Maxted which lifted the Shaymen into sixth.
