Queens Park Rangers have extended the contract of forward Sinclair Armstrong.

The 20-year-old made 41 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring four goals, and was named the Hoops' young player of the year for a second time.

He earned his first international cap for the Republic of Ireland in a 2-1 loss to the Netherlands last September.

Armstrong joined QPR's academy from Shamrock Rovers in 2020 and has had loan spells at Torquay United and Aldershot Town.

The club has not specified the length of his new contract.
