Burnley sign Sarmiento, Laurent, Adewumi & Flemming

Burnley have signed Brighton forward Jeremy Sarmiento and Millwall midfielder Zian Flemming on season-long loans as well as Stoke City midfielder Josh Laurent and forward Oluwaseun Adewumi from Austrian side Floridsdorfer for undisclosed fees.
Sarmiento, 22, won promotion from the Championship during a loan spell with Ipswich Town last season while 26-year-old Flemming joins having scored 23 goals in two seasons with the Lions.
Laurent, 29, joins on a two-year deal having made 80 appearances for the Potters after moving to the club in the summer of 2022.
Adewumi joins on a four-year deal but the 19-year-old has immediately joined Scottish side Dundee on loan until January.

Meanwhile, full-back Vitinho has left the Clarets in order to join Brazilian top flight side Botafogo on a permanent deal.
The 25-year-old joined Burnley from Cercle Bruges in 2022 and won the Championship title with the club in his first season.
He made 80 appearances for the Clarets in two years with the club and returns to Brazil for an undisclosed fee.
