Mansfield Town have signed Blackpool's Jordan Rhodes and fellow forward Caylan Vickers from Brighton and Hove Albion on loan for the rest of the season.

Former Scotland international Rhodes, 34, has scored three goals in 28 appearance since making a permanent switch to the Tangerines this season.

The ex-Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday forward, who has scored more than 240 goals across his career, spent last season on loan at Blackpool from Huddersfield Town.

Rhodes became the second forward to make a transfer deadline day switch to Mansfield, following the arrival of Vickers from Premier League side Brighton.

It is the second time in as many years that the 20-year-old has made a transfer deadline day move, having joined Brighton from League One side Reading in February 2024.

Vickers has featured for Brighton Under-21 in the EFL Trophy and Premier League 2 this season, but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the club.

"He has League One experience with his previous club, Reading, and he's ready to come out on loan and have a go in this division again," Mansfield boss Nigel Clough told the club website, external.
