Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn is to leave Norwich City when his contract expires at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old, whose father Bryan also played for the club, has played 119 games for the Canaries, 34 of them this season, but confirmed last month that there had been "no communication" about a new deal.

Norwich, who sacked head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup last week, have also confirmed that they will not be offering new deals to forward Onel Hernandez and midfielder Jacob Sorensen.

Hernandez's only goals this season came in an EFL Cup tie against Stevenage last August, while Sorensen has played 26 games in 2024-25.

"Angus, Onel and Jacob have all played a significant part in our club's history. They have been part of some very successful teams and their achievements here have been fantastic," said sporting director Ben Knapper.

"I know our supporters will join me in showing our appreciation to each of the players for their efforts and contributions to the club during our final fixture of the season this weekend against Cardiff City."

Gunn's fellow goalkeeper Archie Mair and defender Jonathan Tomkinson - who is currently on loan at Ross County - are also being released by the Canaries.

Meanwhile, Josh Sargent and Borja Sainz were named in the Championship team of the season on Sunday.
