Stockport County have re-signed forward Louie Barry on a season-long loan from Premier League side Aston Villa.
The 21-year-old has also signed a contract extension with Villa and returns to Edgeley Park having made 20 league appearances for the Hatters last term.
Barry scored nine times as Stockport County won the League Two title in 2023-24 but was on the sidelines through injury during the midway point of the campaign.
“Louie had a huge impact in the early part of last season and it was great for him to come back and be able to not only finish the job, but enjoy the celebrations of being League Two champions," boss Dave Challinor said.
"We are so excited to see Louie back at 100% fitness and have a similar impact on a higher division."
