Carlisle bring in ex-MK Dons forward Dennis

Matthew Dennis scored five goals in 34 league appearances for MK Dons

Carlisle United have signed forward Matthew Dennis on a short-term contract until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old had a loan spell with National League Rochdale this season and was released from his contract with MK Dons last month.

Dennis is new Cumbrians boss Mark Hughes' first signing.

He could make his debut for Carlisle, who are bottom of League Two, at Newport on Tuesday (19:45 GMT).
