Man Utd keeper Harrison joins Shrewsbury on loan

League Two club Shrewsbury Town have signed teenage goalkeeper Elyh Harrison on a season-long loan from Manchester United.

The 19-year-old has featured for the Red Devils' under-21 side but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Premier League club.

He spent last season on loan at National League North side Chester, where he made 18 appearances.

Shrewsbury director of football Micky Moore says the England Under-20 international has a "bright future" after monitoring his progress last season.

"We think he's got all the right characteristics and that this could be a very good loan for him," Moore told the club website.
