After seeing his side twice come from behind before knocking Leicester out of the EFL Cup in the first round on penalties, Terriers boss Lee Grant spoke of his pride in his squad.

Grant made nine changes from the XI which beat Reading on Saturday but the hosts made a bright start against a side who played Premier League football last season and are tipped for an instant return this term.

Grant told BBC Radio Leeds: ""We set our stall out this season to try and have some special nights in the cup, the group have identified it as something they really want to go for this year, so that's what we did.

"I love the fact we can make nine changes, which is more than Leicester made, and there's no drop-off.

"It was just fantastic and I am really proud of the group and the work they are putting in."
