Wrexham midfielder George Thomason is hoping to make his long awaited first appearance in front of home fans in Tuesday's EFL Cup third round tie against Reading.
Thomason joined Wrexham from Bolton Wanderers for a fee of more than £1m during the summer but missed the opening weeks of the season with a thigh injury.
Now recovered, the 24-year-old is in line to finally take to the field at the Stok Cae Ras as a Wrexham player.
"I've been there for a couple of home league games and I've played at the stadium for previous teams," Thomason said.
"The atmosphere's always been really good, so I'm really looking forward to getting out there and playing in front of the home fans and hopefully show them what I'm all about."
Thomason made his Wrexham debut as a second half substitute in Saturday's 3-2 win at Norwich City in the Championship.
"Absolutely delighted to not only make my debut, but to win the game as well," Thomason added.
"It's been a little bit of a frustrating time for myself after getting injured really quickly after signing.
"But I'm feeling good, fit and healthy - I'm really buzzing to be back in amongst the group."
Thomason, who made 46 appearances for Bolton last season, was relieved to get 15 minutes under his belt at Carrow Road.
"Thankfully, I've been a player that's been robust through my career so far," he said.
"So to pick up injuries, innocuous ones, is kind of tough to deal with and sometimes symptoms come on where you don't initially know what you've done to your own body when you're experiencing something new.
"You've got to treat everything properly and right. I really worked hard on my rehab and did everything properly.
"So I'm looking forward to staying fit and staying in the best shape to try and help the group this year."

Wrexham's win at Norwich City was their second win of the season and a timely boost after a 3-1 revesrse at home to Queens Park Rangers in their previous game.
Wrexham's non-executive director Shaun Harvey had labelled aspects of speculation surrounding manager Phil Parkinson's future at the club after the home defeat to QPR as "an absolute disgrace."
Tomasen said Wrexham's players did not listen to the "outside noise" of media speculation surrounding the high profile Hollywood-owned club.
"To be fair, a lot of it is just outside noise," Thomason said.
"The group and everyone really involved in the football club is super humble and don't really take anything too full on from what we hear.
"We can only really focus on ourselves and what we've got in front of us.
"We're obviously fortunate that we've got incredible owners, supporters, board, everyone backing the club.
" So, it's just down to us to take care of the controlables and that's trying to win as many games as we can."
