Stockport sign Palace defender Adaramola on loan

Tayo Adaramola has yet to make his league debut for Crystal Palace

Stockport County have signed Crystal Palace defender Tayo Adaramola on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old left-back made two FA Cup appearances for Palace's first-team under Patrick Vieira in the 2022-23 season and also helped the under-23 side reach the final of the Premier League International Cup.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international made 14 appearances for Belgian Pro League side RWD Molenbeek during a loan spell last term.

"He’s another player who has been on our radar for some time now," said Stockport boss Dave Challinor.

"His profile is one that we really feel suits our style and what we require from our full-backs and wing-backs.

“His intent to be positive and run forward with pace will undoubtedly benefit us and he has the athleticism to do this over extended periods."
