Crewe Alexandra defender Charlie Finney has signed a new one-year contract with the League Two club.
The 21-year-old's involvement with the Alex squad has been affected by injury over the last three seasons and seen him make 26 of his 29 league appearances from the bench.
Last term he played 10 times, all as a substitute, as the club finished 13th in League Two and started three EFL Trophy games.
Finney, who has been with Crewe since he was 10, has agreed a deal that includes an option to extend for another 12 months.
He is the third player to sign fresh terms at the Mornflake Stadium after midfielder Owen Lunt and goalkeeper Tom Booth.
