Huddersfield appoint Markham as sporting director

Huddersfield Town have appointed Chris Markham as their new sporting director.

He left the same role at fellow League One side Bolton Wanderers earlier this year, having overseen the club's promotion from League Two.

Markham also previously worked for the Terriers' as head of performance analysis between 2009 and 2017, before leaving to take up a role at the Football Association.
