Leicester City have completed a loan move for Crystal Palace striker Odsonne Edouard.

The 26-year-old joins the Foxes for the season to boost Steve Cooper's firepower in the Premier League.

Edouard has scored 21 goals in 103 games for the Eagles since signing from Celtic in 2021.

"I can’t wait to get started. I’m really excited to be joining a team like Leicester City and to do what I can to help the team in the Premier League this season," the Frenchman said.

"There’s a fantastic squad here and I’m confident that the team has what it takes to be successful. I’ll be working hard to make sure I do everything I can to support my team and to show the fans what I can do on the pitch."

Leicester host Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday with one point from their opening two games.
