Harrogate Town have completed the signing of Liverpool academy prospect Tom Hill on a permanent deal.

The 22-year-old midfielder, who has been a key part of the Premier League side's under-21s this season, has agreed an 18-month deal with the League Two outfit.

"We've watched him quite a few times this season and he's always stood out, he's what we look for in a player and we think it'll be a really good fit for us," head of player recruitment Lloyd Kelly told the club website., external

"He's an energetic, versatile midfielder who can play across the midfield and off the front. We predominantly see him as a box-to-box midfielder, he's got good energy, is very good technically and competes well."

Hill could make his Harrogate debut against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, subject to FA and EFL approval.
