Chelsea have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Femke Liefting from AZ Alkmaar on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The 20-year-old has represented the Netherlands at youth level and has made 50 senior club appearances.
Liefting was named goalkeeper of the tournament at last summer's Under-20 World Cup and won the Golden Glove award as the Netherlands finished fourth.
"It is really amazing," Liefting said after completing the move.
"I am so proud. It is just such a big club. I'm really honoured to be here."
Paul Green, Chelsea's head of women's football, added: "Femke is an exciting goalkeeper whom we have been tracking over the last few years.
"She has vast experience for a player of her age. We look forward to seeing her development continue in the upcoming years."
Liefting is Chelsea's second signing of the January transfer window after the arrival of Naomi Girma for a women's world record fee.
Chelsea agreed a deal to sign Barcelona's England midfielder Keira Walsh on the Women's Super League's transfer deadline day, but the signing is yet to be confirmed.
