Ex-Bradford forward Walker signs for Grimsby

Former Bradford City forward Jamie Walker has joined Grimsby Town on a two-year contract.

Walker left Bradford after helping the Bantams secure promotion to League One and having scored 19 goals in 125 games for them.

Now the former Scotland Under-21 player, 32, moves to Blundell Park to a side who finished ninth last season in the fourth tier.

"I know what the league brings and what you need to be successful at this level, so hopefully I can bring that in abundance and help the team on the pitch," Walker told the Grimsby website.
